The Hope and Healing Ministry

HOPE & HEALING MINISTRY

where hearts open, people enter and receive healing

He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds Psalms 147:3 NLT

Purpose: to provide information, education, support and service to members of our community concerning HIV/AIDS to decrease the number of incidents, particularly among youth and senior adults. This ministry seeks to encourage and collaborate with individuals, family members, and friends so that they may have hope, peace and a life fulfilled.

Our Community

Hope & Healing Ministry operates primarily in the vicinity of zip code area 21217 and surrounding communities. This area is nationally known to be an impoverished area afflicted with increase in many health concerns, one being HIV/AIDS. This disease in recent years has increased amongst our African American teens and seniors. Hope and Healing has partnered with Jacques Initiative to provide free HIV testing at Payne Memorial on a bi-monthly basis.
